Pulled the trigger on the Complete American Eagle Proof Set 86 to 05

Got up this morning and made a quick list of what it would take to get them all roughly via ebay and I don't think I could have saved a nickel, it would have taken forever, and I'd have had dubious dealings with God knows who.

I bought my set from a place I've previously done business with.

I'll soon be the proud owner of a full set of American Eagles.

Another thing I have to think about it is I live in Japan and pretty much must shop on line. Can't just run down to the local coin show or anything.

  • That's a pretty set all together (the ones I have seen, that is). Did you spring for the 1995 W?

TP Graded? Or Mint Issued? It's a pretty set. I'd like to do the same thing, after I get a couple of other goals out of the way.

    Coindexter,

No, but I am looking at that set with the 95W in it. I think it'll cost about $6K give or take. I'll get it but exactly when I don't know. I'm not rich but I'm a long long way from being poor.

It just won't pay me to have this set and know that there is one missing. That will not be allowed to stand.

Even if you get a "yen" to do it? Bummer!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
