1943/43 D/D Lincoln

I don't have any pictures. I just picked this up. I believe it will grade 64 or 65. It is not the same variety that PCGS shows in their Price Guide. If I send it in, would I use the coin number for the D/D, or just the regular 1943D? Also, should I describe the error on the form, or will they find it upon inspection? Too bad I don't have 4 more for Economy Error.

Before you spend any money on submission fees, try to
    scan the date area.

There are thousands of Steel Cents (all three Mints) that show
doubled letters/mm, that are NOT doubled Dies........

The only D/D PCGS will holder under that coin number is RPM#1, check out coppercoins.com for some pictures of the variety.

You should also know that many 1943-D and -S cents suffer from die fatigue doubling that can look a lot like a RPM to someone unfamiliar with the date. If your D/D is to the southeast toward the rim, chances are it is die fatigue and not a true variety. A picture here would help imensely if you have that capability.

ANACS would be the way to go to get variety attribution on the label. However, chances are that it is just common die fatigue doubling, as the only CONECA listed combo of 1943d/d and ddo is rpm-16 and ddo-5, the descriptions of which you can see in the CONECA variety listings.

The 4 is strongly doubled and appears to be almost due east, but slightly SE. The 3 has just a bit of something in the upper portion of it. The D is SE. There also appears to be a very thin die crack that runs from Abe's chin straight down past the 1.
I'm trying to get an image of it.
