Help with ebay list... What is acceptable

I just got back my most recent sub. I have a psa 9 1961 card that only 2 nines exsist and no tens. I know it is rare and should bring a good buck.. However, lately I see tons of people posting that their auctions are getting sent back for what they put in the title. What can I put? I was thinking this.

1961 topps John Doe psa 9 Rare

subtitle: Only 2 psa 9 and NO psa 10 exsist

Would this be ok by ebay? I know you can do things like 1/3 anymore unless the card is stamped 1/3

No reason at all you wouldnt be able to put " only 2 9's and no PSA 10's " It should be just fine.

"1961 topps John Doe PSA 9 (POP 2)"
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

I would drop "rare", who searches for that? I would add the card # and team name. EX: 1961 Topps, John Doe, #XXX, Dodgers, PSA 9.
The add the subtitle for .50 EX: 1 of 2 PSA 9 with no higher, as of May 18th, 2006

For the $$$ the card should bring it is worth the 50 cents to get as much info as possible in the title. Good luck with it, STEVE.

I agree with adding the card # and tam name, but I would still go with no 10s rather than the date.

I think the most important thing is the year must be in there. Also, the team name should be in there as well. If it fits, the card number too.

Definately drop "rare". That is one of the key words for junk. Collectors know what is "rare", and to tell you the truth, the sub title isnt even that important because the top 1961 registry collectors should put the card through the roof for you.....
