WAG: 67, 66 (although I now know the true grades)
I couldn't afford them even if they looked like this:

Cladiator, the "fecond" one is a 1909/8.
Grades, GUYS!! GRADES!!
Both are fantastic examples and would be almost impossible to find equals for the grade.
Is the first one the one you did a downgrade trade with John? If it is I would see about an upgrade.
edited, just noticed the gouges on the rays above the capitol on the first one. That might keep it down to MS65 but still a borderline coin.
Those "gouges" are smaller than your crab-lice.
SHEEEEEEESH!
Look at the fields...see any rub anywhere on either coin? Natural surfaces? You are basically looking at a coin through a microscope here.
Didn't wanna get me no trade

Oh yeah, kudos to the photographer. The pics alone should be a collectible.
The photographer wanted to have a crack at some of my coins so I let him. Nice job, huh? I'll reveal who it is in a while.
Strike = BAM!!!!!
grades = I couldn't afford to even think about what they would be let alone be able to purchase one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.

But they are not 67's.
I love watching the counter go up on my registry when I do this.

PCGS should have a registry award for most uniqe visitors.
These are very PQ coins and part of a package of 8 that went in for regrade. The 1909 is MS65 and just could tip the scales on the right day. The 1909/8 is a MS65 also and it will not upgrade, although it's a wonderful coin from the Morse sale. Doug Winter thought it was one of the better coins 'for the grade' in the entire collection, however the 3 MS66's are truly spectacular and this one will stay where it is.
Kudos to Phil. Now if he only could type up the inserts to my specs.

Gorgeous coins. I'm assuming that Phil gave you these photos in standard TrueView format and then you cut and pasted them into a black background in Photshop? Or did Phil do that for you? Just curious. Gold looks MUCH better with a black background as opposed to white, IMO.

Where do you find the time? Are you still working?
I am retired and do not have the time available that you seem to have.
When you get tired of these old girls, send them my way. I'm closer to their age than you.
Anything is for sale Dale, for the right price.
