There's one on ebay. Problem is I saw one on ebay sell for a little over a thousand once (i was the underbidder). Not sure what is really a fair price.

Edit, oh, you mean normal rim, not wide rim. Sorry. I actually need both still (I get first dibs on DRG's extra if he sells!).

That is a PCGS MS67 1979 SBA dollar. That is also (from the images) a far date coin.

Thanks Rampage. I've been going through and weeding out coins my mother had left me.
Do you think this SBA sample would bring $1,000?

$1,000? No way. I would try closer to $550.00 or so. However, I have not priced SBAs in quite some time. I try to make my own coins and most of the ones I own and made are MS66s. The exceptions are the 1981P and S. Anyway, take a look on eBay or Heritage. I am sure you will get a better idea.

Here is a link to Teletrades last sale of a 1979 PCGS MS67 (NON WIDE RIM) SBA$.

The 1979 P usually has Full Talons. It is hard to tell if the Teletrade coin does or not. The Teletrade coin sold for $800, that means the buyer paid about $900.

I just went through my inventory and what I found was I have 2 1979 P MS67's that both have perfect FT's and rival my MS68 in many ways. They are the 2 best MS67's that I have found during the past 11 or so years I have been collecting these things.

I really can't bring myself to sell either of these at going rates, so sorry, none for sale here right now.

I have a few other dates that I will be putting up on eBay soon.

Clearly, byt the link, I am out of touch with reality. image At least I did say in the previous post that it has been a while since I've priced them. image I did own an MS67, but I think it was a D or S and that was a few years ago. I sold it back then. Kinda wish I kept it. The coin in DRGs link looks quite nice, too. image

Congrats, that is a tough find in that short of a time span.
If you don't mind what was the going rate for one? I was kind of curious as to the current market prices of them.
