Guess what Vic will end at and win a card!

I woke up today and felt pretty good. My son wasn't too much of a pain this morning. He got to wear his Aubrey Huff jersey for the first time--Not a D' Rays fan but you can't pass up a toddlers baseball jersey for $6.00 at Babies R Us. The cup of coffee I picked up at the Circle K was one of the best cups i've had in a while. There was no line at the post office. There was balance and harmony in the universe if only for a few hours today.

So it got me thinking. I listed my '66 Topps Vic Hadfield PSA 9 last night on Ebay. Some of you may be familiar with the story--I purchased it as a GAI 9 on Ebay, cracked that puppy out and sent it in on the $8.00 February special. It came back a 9. I'm confident in this card and feel so good today that I'm offering up a contest on these boards. Guess where Vic closes at and win a card. This is the only '66 Topps Vic Hadfield graded PSA 9. There are no 10's. Guess accordingly.

Here's how it works:

This is the Vic-tim Post a guess on this thread by 11:59 PM on Saturday April 8th. One guess per person. Closest guess wins this:

Sorry the scan sucks but this really is a nice looking Ryan Howard PSA 9 rookie.

Good luck with your guesses!!!

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

  • Hey, I just got Bob Barkered by rose14com. image

    I bid $311.11 and he bid $314.14.

Is this closest bid without going over?
  • Nope. Closest to it. From the looks of the guesses this card has a wild spread on where people think it'll end. I do have a feeling someone out there is going to hit it right on the head though. And whoever that is better start spewing out some lottery numbers. image

Sorry 'bout that Writer11, I quickly scanned the bids and threw one out that HAD to contain "14.14" in it. I'll try to pay closer attention in the future.
