Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Found it in a stamp collection of First Day Covers. There is one for each mint postmarked in that city. Opinions?

It looked like chocolate to me!

there are also similar first day covers for the sacagawea, state quarters and now westward journey nickels.
the susan b's haven't really moved price wise, but i still enjoy the first day covers.
These are not overly unusual but there are at least a couple different varieties for them.
It is true that the mint now produces first day covers, but I believe this started with the Sac's and State Quarters.
To add my 2 cents, I have two Philly SBA first day covers, privately issued but done up to look official, that have Wide Rims (WRs were produced late in 1979). Go figure! Rob

Curious. This one I haven't seen before.
Is that a wide rim 79-P?
