neat coin, but for that kind of money my list of desired coins has about 100 coins i'd want more, mostly pre 1800 gold and copper types in high grades.

Now if I was a bazillionaire and this was just another high 5 figure rarity for me, sure, I'd take it

  • I agree with Baley. There are many other coins that I'd rather buy. For that kind of money, I could probably buy most of them.

If I had "deep pockets", yes, I'd bid. After all, there are only 10 or so of these out there.
As far as using the bid money for other coins, again, if I had "deep pockets", I'd already have those other coins. image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

IF I had deep pockets, then yes, I would be tempted to bid.

If I had the bucks for a high relief Peace Dollar i think I'd rather go with the 1921.

One observation about that 1922 Coin. Isn't it interesting that a lower valued coin would be dipped to bright white or AT'ed with a mind-boggling array of neon colors, instead of being presented with that grungy appearance?

It depended on how deep the pockets are. If I'm making that each day off of 3% interest.... maybe. If that's my monthly coin budget.... probably not.

I would have to see it in hand before I would write a check!

    Poor eye-appeal. Unattractive toning.
