Can you please grade my 20 dollar St. Gaudens. Is it worthy of sending it to PCGS?

Hard to say it is very dark on my moniter.My guess is 64, a better 20's P date a very nice coin. send it in.You may get lucky and get a higher grade than that.

If it's genuine and MS then I agree with Shamika and think it a very low end MS.

Ms61ish, slight chance of AU, can't see luster due to lighting. The lighting may also be showing scratches more harshly. c

I grade the coin AU at BEST.....Look at the wear on the fingers, eagle feathers, etc.....although it is hard to be sure from the photo...



Unfortunately the coin is worth a few bucks over melt......

Trying to grade here from photos is a fun exercise, but as you can see, you get a wide range of opinions.

In my opinion, the authentication of the coin is important if you plan on selling it via Ebay. A local and knowledgable dealer would not

need authentication, but would probably need to pay less than what you could aceive on the 'Bay.

PCGS is still the best place to send coins and maximize your auction success. If you aren't planning on selling it right now, why embed it in plastic

right now?

Tough to grade by pics as Ego says...... BUT...... I see LOTS of rim hits. I doubt it'll go over an AU grade.
