I just came back from the bank with a pleasant surprise

after making a deposit, Iasked the teller, like I always do, if she had any Kennedy halves or big dollar coins. She smiled and said " Actually these just came in" and placed one of those white bank envelopes on the counter. It was $13.00 in Kennedy halves.
I thanked her, exchanged the $13.00 for the coins. When I got back to the office I was pleased to find a very nice '65 - '66 - '67 and a '71. The rest were pretty crude but you cant beat getting a few quality coins at face value.

These would probably grade ms60 - ms63

I got a 67 and 68 yesterday from the bank, I have yet to get a 64, 65, 66, or 69 though

My daughter and I look through halves when we ge a chance. She has 18 different circulated proof halves including a 1976-S in 40% silver. She's working on a Dansco complete Kennedy half set pulled from circulation. It's actually a very nice set including the circulated proofs.

I just missed a chance to get a $1000 bag out of the counting machine at the bank, I got there at 5PM and the coins headed out to the main bank at 3PM. What really hurts is that the teller told me there were a lot of coins that had a picture of Ike with long hair!
