Apologies if the obverse image sucks. It was surprisingly hard to get through the slab.
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

MS-65 FB. Carbon fleck and reverse hit on fasces/top band stop it from 66, and the bands are split but not quite rounded (like I can tell that from a pic.) Could have made 66 if the graders weren't paying attention and missed the nick on the fasces.

What are those nicks on the rim? It seems as if it was in a bezelfor a necklace or a ring.

Looks 64FB to me. Hit on reverse and the stains near the obverse rim. Possibly if the coin was cracked and dipped quickly it might pick up a point. I think old rattlers have been looked at many times and if this was a upgrade coin it would not still be in the rattler. To make it worth while the coin would have to go 67 though.

    Priest:

I think those are part of the holder. It's in a green PCGS holder. Under magnification, they are all the exact same size and triangular. It would be hard to tell what they are conclusively without cracking it, though.

  • The other thing that srikes me as odd is I don't think the marks on the rim are consistent with how you'd hang it from a necklace. Wouldn't it be at an odd angle?

MS65 no FB as there seems to be a slight merge in the center of the middle bands.
