Priority Mail................

.....why is it that when you mail or get delivery of coins by Priority Mail the tracking number shows nothing except that shipping info was received and it doesnt track the package along the way so you have some idea of where your parcel is?

  • It only tracks entry into the USPS system, and delivery to the recipient.

Actually, wouldn't that be delivery to the intended address and not necessarily the intended recipient?

A pretty good use of $.45 in my opinion, especially since it buys you almost nothing with regard to seller protection from PayPal!

  • That is why it is called delivery confirmation and not tracking. Paypal and ebay use the term tracking too liberally and confuses people to believe that the post office offers tracking, it does not, only UPS and FedEx do that.

Actually, it just means that it got delivered to someone somewhere, not necessarily to the right address or recipient, useless.
