Anybody have a new team for me to cheer for?

Another letdown from the Hawkeyes, one minute you are Big 10 tournament champions and a #3 seed and the next, you lose to Northwestern St. It happens every year yet I still pick them for a couple rounds in the tournament. Come on UNI.

    I had NWST beating Iowa. I left for class when Iowa was up 10 so I didn't see the 3 ball at the end.

    I had Northern Iowa in the sweet 16 image

    Dude, Gonzaga is way overrated! Did you see how many time this season they needed major zebra love to beat inferior teams?

    They might get to the Sweet 16, but that's it.

    But you know what they say about opinions.....

    I was kidding seeing how NI lose right after this post. I hate Duke and Gonzaga...

    I have the Hoosiers over the Zags in my bracket. If Zaga wins escapes that game, I hope the Bruins take them out behind the woodshed.

    Me, too. I'm not a Zags fan at all. They played a weak schedule.

    They don't deserve a #3 seed at all.

    Anything to jinx Duke will be appreciated-- I have them going down to LSU in almost all my brackets. I did 8 brackets this year, after day one I was tied for the lead on the ESPN site (with over 1,000 other people). image

    I had to do one bracket with UNC winning it all. That would be the story of the year--repeating as Champions, but with an entirely different lineup.
    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    mreuter, as a 2 time MSU Spartan grad, I feel your pain. Nothing worse than losing in the first round of the Big Dance as the better seed. At least Iowa lost to a team that had all of its starters, and on a "fluke" shot more-or-less.
