Relic card fans--Something for nothing update

Update: 31 people requested a card through the boards. 31 bubblemailers went out this morning. Interesting facts from what was requested (I like useless stats):
Most requested was a 'surprise' relic, followed by Red Sox, Angels and Terrell Owens. If anything, this proves people here like the pack ripping mentality, and we have a bunch of Red Sox, Angels and to my surprise, Terrell Owens fans here. A bunch of people requested for their son/daughter/nephew, which is great for this hobby as the more future generations get involved and enjoy it, the longer this hobby will continue.
There are still a handful of cards left if anyone wants a surprise jersey, bat or autographed card in the mail.
....and now we return you to the originally aired message.
Okay, so what gives you ask.
March 13th is my birthday. Every year I think back to my youth and remember the good old days--the days where I didn’t worry about bills, deadlines, stress…I think about the good times where you could buy a bunch of packs of cards for a buck. I ripped packs for cards for my sets. Cards were basic—cardboard with wax and bubble gum stains. Jersey Cards? Bat Cards? Those gimmicks didn’t exist.
And then I fast forward to today. I look over to my right and there is a box of relic cards sitting there, collecting dust and annoying me. I could sell them on Ebay, but I don’t feel like it. Every now and then I toss one up on the’Bay and they sell cheap or not at all. It’s too much work for something I have no interest in. So I started thinking about these cards sitting here and how much I don’t like them and figured I’d give myself a different type of birthday gift—I’ll give them away and rid myself of these memorabilia sacrileges that annoy me so much.
So here’s the situation. I have 42 jersey, bat or autograph cards that have been pulled from packs over the past few years. I could tell you who the players are, but that would take all the fun out of it as some players would go faster than others. The cards were pulled from Fleer, Topps, Donruss and Upper Deck packs. Regular packs and premium packs. Some are even numbered. Want one? PM me with your info and I’ll mail it out. That’s it. No strings. No catch.
Now, I have taken the time to sort out certain sports and teams and what have you. Here is what there is:
Three football cards—a Jet, a Titan and a Terrell Owens.
Ten Basketball cards—2 76ers, 2 Suns, a TWolves, a Clipper, A Celtic, A rocket, A Bull and a Net
29 Baseball cards—a Johnny Damon Red Sox, 3 Red Sox, 2 White Sox, 2 Rockies, 4 Angels, a Marlin, a Yankee, 2 Mariners, and Indian, Dodger, Ranger, DRays, Brave, Cardinal, Royal, Oriole, Phillie, Brewer, Twin, Jay, and a Giant.
Favorite team? Let me know and I will try to accommodate from the list (once it’s gone it’s gone). You know of any kids, friends, relatives that would like a surprise in the mail, let me know. Don’t want to pick a team and just want the surprise, then just ask for any card. First come, first serve. Leave a blurb on this topic that email’s been sent.

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

It will go to my nephew. Right now he is all about Yu-Gi-Oh cards. When he got a pack of "Baseball Bubblegum Cards" he tried to eat one, assuming the card was bubblegum!
But he remembers all the Knicks and Nets games I've taken him to, so this will be great.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
Just wanted to say thanks to onlyanumber. I'm a new user yet he was very generous!
