TPG Populations

If you crack a slab and send the label back to the TPG, will they adjust the population? Do all TPG do this?

PCGS an NGC do. I believe ANACS does. Not as positive about the others although I suspect ICG does.

ICG used to give you a credit for every label of theirs you returned. Don't know if they still do that or not.

  • I was hoping that was true. Of course, it would be a neat discovery to find that your 7/0 is really 3/0 that kept getting submitted.

I just had one of my NGC coins cross over at PCGS.

Does PCGS inform NGC that an insert is now out of their holder or do I need to do this on my own?

Also, do either TPG service (PCGS or NGC) offer anything for an insert?

I heard PCGS pays some miniscule amount for each, any clue?

    Thanks
