I picked up a $1 sized planchet today, question is...

What coin weighs 28.5 grams? Is it an Ike planchet? The rim is not reeded and it isn't silver in color.

That's too heavy for an Ike or any other U.S. issue. Sounds like a question for the darksiders.

My bet is that it's a rare South Eastern Patagonian occupational / emergency issue from the lesser of the 2 Leper colonies located there during the reign of "Dagmar the Busty" who ruled from 1282-1307......... Or it might just be a washer without a hole ?????????

note to self.... that circle I cut from a piece of sheet metal really fooled that one guy. I'll have to bring more to the next show.
