I also just picked up a really nice 1942-D Washington Quarter DDO in VF, one of the biggest in the series, with numbers counterstamped on both sides.

Like? I love this little coin!

the damage is part of it's history, and if not for the hole, it wouldn't be mine.

come to think of it, if not for the hole, it probably wouldn't have survived to this day, certainly not with this much detail left.
