DVD came in mail today.

The ANA and Heritage sent me a DVD entitled, Selling Your Coins & Currency at Auction. It’s marked $24.95, but I guess it’s free.

This is my first year with ANA. Does stuff come pretty often? Heritage is really only asking for the business, I guess. Anyone else get one?

I think almost everyone else got one. I know I still have it sitting there. Heritage wants your nice coins so they can make 10-15% on them.

The cover letter from ANA acted like it was continuing education, and I know they charge for DVD courses. I didn’t watch the DVD, but I assumed it was just Heritage wanting coins to take to the show.

Does stuff like this come pretty often?

Another reason not to join the ANA: junk mail from the corporations that they are in bed with.

More than you know - I got mine today - just as annoying as those AOL dicss that are in magazines and periodicals.

As far as Heritage goes, if you got the money to buy their stuff, great - but I have heard plenty about them (especially their ethics) that I'll go elsewhere.
