<< <i>Russ....How about keeping your crappy insults to yourself. A large number of people have asked that I post here when the drawing was complete and ready to order. >>
That was an unwarranted insult.
although I don't see how Russ calling the thread spam (slang for advertising) is a "crappy insult"
Maybe when he called this thread "spam" he wasn't aware that the rules that apply to everyone else here don't apply in this particular case.

I am surprised at you! You are normally very mellow about these things. Must be the modern versus classic debate?
=======================
Coppercoins: Sorry I have not called you again yet. Been SO busy at work here.
Will get to it real soon.
<< <i>Russ....How about keeping your crappy insults to yourself. >>
I guess you're above the rules.

I'm gonna agree as well. I will compliment the OP on his work. But there was just a thread the other day about this one. Need to let folks know of your wares for sale? Hit the BST or use the PM function.

So when the coins you photo, and then ask for opinions on quality & grade, eventually appear for auction on your ebay account, should we just assume you weren't slyly spamming them for auction attention ?
<< <i>So when the coins you photo, and then ask for opinions on quality & grade, eventually appear for auction on your ebay account, should we just assume you weren't slyly spamming them for auction attention ? >>
I'd note that you're an idiot because you can't see the difference between sharing a coin image with no reference to a sale, and a direct solicitation with a link to a web site, but that's self-evident.

Ya, whatever you say. I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees the direct relation between your ebay auction consignments and the pictures you "just ask opinions" on here. Nice try but it's really very obvious.

I'm sure you must be kidding about that. Or, perhaps you're the only member here that's oblivious?

I have no desire to see you banned. I would, however, like to see you stop repeatedly spamming the US coin forum with your poster and book sales. That's what the BST is for.

I tried to be nice and even complimented your work. But yes, you have been spamming this board constantly with your "wares."
It just might be that Russ and myself are the only ones that got the guts to speak up. As far as skipping them..... I'll do as I please, just like you are.

Pretty soon I'll have to put coins for sale here because someone asked me too.
Never mind the rules
Personally I want to see anyone top the artistic ability of a person who is 'color' blind, and does this in pencil.
Any of you Picasso's ready to match Chucks works? Speak up pansies.
Chuck- just keep letting US know when you have finished a piece- and keep doing it here or for that matter - ANYWHERE you see fit.
Russ- you are off base on this, and you know it- I'm sure that every sig line coin you have put up in the last month or for that matter every Kennedy you post is just to let us ohh and ahhh at how great thou art in cherry pickin, only to see the coin on ebay or teletrade a week or so later.
But you're not the only one who does it- so in reality it must be ok every now and then.
Why not take the complaint to carolJ or Smotis? They listen to gripes.
Hold my number for me CD (21) and just let me know when George Morgan and Charley Barber comes out.
we all blitch and moan to much here. Including yours truly.
That is another beautiful piece of art you have there. I would like to reserve my copy, and retain my # in my growing collection of your work. Payment is on its way. Thanks again.
<< <i>Russ- you are off base on this, and you know it >>
I don't make the rules. IF CU wants to change that and allow people to hawk their wares on the US Coin forum, that's fine with me. Until they do, though, why should he be allowed some special dispensation?

And, I'm sure that you don't have a clue. No coin that's been in my sig line has ever been later sold. I haven't posted a coin prior to offering it on eBay in some time now. In fact, NONE of the coins I've posted over the last couple of months has been offered for sale at all.
Russ, NCNE
Russ, NCNE>>
Are you telling us that NO coin in your sig line has ever been sold?
Funny I have seen a few of your Kennedies up for sale - may not have been last week- but definitely have seen a few on the auction block..
I want to see the artists post their work here- other than CD- who here has drawn like he has...
haven't seen any picasso's yet.
Like everyone else is suppose to....????????
<< <i>I want to see the artists post their work here- other than CD- who here has drawn like he has... >>
He, like anyone else, is free to share his art here. He is, however, not free to post for sale threads.
Russ, NCNE
<< <i>I'm done with this crap. >>
I don't blame you man. Load of BS if you ask me.
<< <i>So since he's a better artist than me he gets to sell here instead of the BST
Like everyone else is suppose to....???????? >>
you beat me to it......................
