That looks like a Vam-8a , you should find strong polishing lines
in the wreath above the mint mark .

Thanks for the info! Yes indeed, it was pretty cool when I got it in the mail. The cracks and such were so noticeable to the naked eye that even I noticed them right off and had to get the loupe and camera out.

Thanks. I ordered an AU58 21-D for $17 bucks from one of my favorite dealers and got a nice surprise and some education along with it. Not a bad deal at all.
