Granted, the auctions aren't over yet, but...

Is there this much of a value difference between a GAI 9 and a PSA 9 image

  • In vintage cards, they both do very well! Tab thru the last Goodwin & Company auction. Very nice prices for both, especially if you are the seller !!
My focus, 1970 Topps Baseball Raw and Graded, pre 1989 PSA Hockey and 1933 INDIAN GUM ! Yikes!!
  • Surely the prices will equilibrate. Even I don't think a PSA copy is worth FIVE TIMES more!!!

I think due to exposure here, the prices will become somewhat more equal.

Had you not brough this out I believe the PSA could have sold for 5X more than the GAI. I think the PSA will still sell for more, maybe 50-100% more.

  • I wouldn't mind owning either of these '70 Pages -- being a fan of the Purple Eaters. The centering of the PSA is an RCH better than the GAI card.

p.s. Any veterans remember what an "RCH" unit of measurement is???

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. My guess is that the PSA 9's probably going to a registered set and two people are bidding it up on emotion.
