This one was in one of the old brown paper holders. I can dig it out of the trashcan if you like.image

Me too! Very nice coin! I'll give you 10 US "gold" Sacawega dollars for it right now (provided, of course that you can find the original brown packaging you bought it in). image Great find and I hope you are happy with it, if you ever get tired of it let me know, it is much better looking than the one I DON'T HAVE in my world gold set! image

    Interesting repunching on the date.

I have (a slightly ventilated) one of those on my Holey Gold Hat. I believe it's a 1798.

Wow, I see it isn't just the date. There's doubling all over that thing, on the king's name and on the bottom right corner of the bust, for starters...

    Nice Coin !!
  • I noticed the date punching but failed to really look at the rest of the coin that close! Interesting! Is that a lamination to the right of the bust too? These are the things that keep me coming back for more! Having now observed this, I will double my offer and give you 20 US "gold" Sacawega dollars even without the brown paper packaging! 30 if you can provide the original packaging you received the coin in... image
Very nice once again and congrats on your purchase!

I have one of those... this was an earlier scan that I have to re-do. The coin is actually much better than this image.
