1991 topps desert shield

anyone collect these in psa9?
heard they're like gold.
smr lists the chipper jones at $200.
is it true that there is only like 5000 sets?
and is there a problem with centering?

SMR is about a zillion years behind. This set is my sentimental favorite. If you can find a PSA 10 C. Jones, it would probably sell for 10x the price you quoted. High grade 9's and 10's sell for quite a bit of money. I heard the estimated production number was actually about 6500, but I don't think it's ever been confirmed. The card stock is really poor. The worst Topps has ever used, which led to a lot of surface problems and other issues. Centering is about as good as the regular Topps issue, meaning adequate at best.

Anyway, I pick up DS stars cards whenever I can. Eventually, I'll talk myself into shooting for a set.
