Rare to see Don Mossi's name and Beauty together in same sentence

I know that he was an underrated pitcher, a real stopper. He was evidently blessed with skills rather than dashing good looks. Like Wally Moon's unibrow, Don's ears should have a spot in some HOF.

With those ears, I bet he could "fly" around the bases.image

  • Didn't Mossi get married on the pitchers mound before a game or something to that effect?

There was a Mossi thread on here a few years ago and someone made the comment that they taped Mossi cards to their one window to scare off the raccoons and keep them out of the garbage cans. Classic.

Mossi's mother always thought his cards were things of beauty.
