It has finally arrived! Key Canadian coin.

Won this back on Nov 5th. Came in the mail today. A very scarce coin that will fill the last spot in my Whitman Album for Canadian 50c coins. More detail on the obverse than a typical Good but not enough to be VG. So I'll grade the coin G-6????

Not five weeks in transit. Took time to get the invoice, had to go to the bank and get a bank draft in Canadian funds, mail the draft to Montreal, get the coin from Montreal. . .

Wasn't that coin in an ICCS flip?

No this one was raw. My AG coin was, and still is, in the ICCS flip. But I do have coins in my Whitman albums I have cut out of ICCS flips.

So far I have the one cent, twenty five cent, and fifty cent sets completed. Only need one coin for the 5c (1858 Large Date).

Do you need it, or just want it? image

Perhaps I'm not very committed to collecting, but I don't usually collect all large date/small date, 1 water line/full water lines, etc. varieties. More power to those who do, though!

I really need it Shiroh. I only collect the varieties when there is a space in the albums I use. There is a space for the large date, so therefore, I need it.

How much will that particular large date fix cost you?

Trends for C$90 in Good. All I need is a Good but can't find one.

    Don't you hate that?

I've been looking for some "common" us 1876 coins in problem-free VF to EF, but all I find is polished stuff overgraded at least one full grade. image
