a Wayte Raymond Frankie - Caution dial uppers, large images

This one was also blast white when it went into a Raymond Rayte album...

Nice colors, especially when one considers this isnt found on a 1950 Frankie as no mint sets were issued that year...

Next time some of the so-called experts around here claim that the Raymond Wayte albums no-longer tone, direct them to this thread...

    LucyBop, how long did it take for the color to form? Also, do you plan on leaving it in the album longer, as the characteristic red color is just starting to appear?

    The coin has been in the album for around 1 year....

    and the Red color, started in October........

    I plan on allowing it to tone some more.....

    It's weird, at times it seems to tone fast, then other times not much happens.... (i check it regularly)

    the reds started with the cold weather and the album open and the coin being exposed, sitting in my large walk in bedroom closet...

    its kind weird, some coins do wonderful, others... nothing! I have a proof Frankie that absolutely nothing has happened with it..

    Very nice. I too was curious about the time it has taken to tone up like that. I started a Wayte board of Franklins over a year ago and nothing so far. Very cool

    I need one of these albums.. Do used ones work or should they be fairly new? Also, how much money are we talking about to get one of these toning machines!?
