1984 Fleer Wax rip...

I just got back from the Chicago show and picked up an 84 Fleer box. I was looking for a 1981 Topps or 1984 Donruss box and couldn't find either. I got there 20 minutes before it closed and I just need to get somethinimage

I have a new favorite card...

I just opened the first pack and got this. Will post more shortly.

    RIP GURU
  • My "break" is from doing homework...

Seeing this '84F Johnstone reminded me of why I didn't buy much of that set. There was that card and at least one more "fun" shot of Glenn Hubbard (was it?) with a boa constrictor around his neck. I decided to stick with '84Donruss and went nuts buying it. Either way, both sets would have been a worthwhile pickup. If I went with '84F, I probably would've bought one or two of the update sets...I regret not doing that!

    Enjoy your box break!

Almost all were OC to the top and mostly 75+. I haven't dabbled with this set much but the packs open a lot different than Topps packs. They almost seemed glued shut and needed a lot more force than Topps wax to open.

    One last one...
