I'll give you Miami but BC sucks -- after they lose to Virginia and Wake, they will be dead. The Criminoles coast until they meet Florida, when they will choke away a chance at the National Championship.
For Coinhusker (the adults): We were exposed Saturday, and we are not as good as people thought. Our offensive line is terrible. Its made up of 4 Seniors, but 3 of them were backups last year. Plus we are trying to run an option attack with a pocket passer. Chris Leak is good at moving around in the pocket, but he's no dual-threat QB.
We are ranked about where we should be, which is in the second 10 . Believe me, every team this season has a glaring weakness, and there are other teams in the top 10 that are overrated as well. We can still win the SEC and go to a BCS bowl. I was hoping for 9 wins in Urban Meyer's first year, so I am not surprised we lost. I'm just surprised in how we lost.

What is it with you FSU fans? Boston College was ranked 17th (16th in the USA Today poll) when they played FSU, after the loss they dropped out of the top 25. So you haven't beaten two top 15 teams. Do you just make up stuff as you go along, or are you all really that dumb?

I think this a little premature. Its hard to judge a coach on his first season. Right now, according to Scouts.com, UF has the #6 class, but this is fluid because they are commitments only. Players cannot actually sign until Nat'l Signing Day in early Feb '06. These kids can, and often do, change their mind and fail to honor their verbal commitment to a school.
Many coaches have often struggled in their first season as players adapt to a new system. Spurrier was routed by Tennessee in his first season 42-3, but he did ok. It takes time for a coach to get in players that fit his system.
I'm very impressed with the job Weis has done this year. It just proves what a difference good coaching can make. He took the kids that the previous staff lost with and is winning with them. Gotta respect that.
Urban's team always show the big improvement in year 2. I was hoping for a 9-win season this year, which is still very achievable.
