The only thing people remember about USC is that they won out in 2004 and beat Oklahoma, that was it. They did not see the gift they got against VTech when they were clearly headed for defeat. The miracle comeback against Stanford, the missed pass in the endzone that would have sealed their fate against Cal. Nope, all they see is 55-19 against Oklahoma.

I have met and talked to some really educated and considerate sports fans, but you are definitely not in that group. You have absolutely no college football education whatsoever. You probably play football in your bedroom by yourself and pretend you are making the winning TD for FSU.

And what USC fan is jealous of FSU? What USC fan would trade our school's football tradition for FSU's? Our present situaton for FSU's? Our future for FSU's? None of them. Heck, I'm sure most fans with no attachment to either team would prefer USC to FSU.

Texas should be #1 FWIW. They've proved in 2 weeks that they can blow out a cupcake (as did USC), but a huge win at a TOUGH place to play against a #5 OSU team. Kudos to them for stepping it up and scheduling a tough non-conference game - where there's risk, there's reward, and they should be rewarded.

I think FSU would win if it was at FSU, and GT would win if it was at GT. As far as a neutral location is concerned (such as the ACC championship), that would be a close game. GT is more experienced on offense, but FSU with more speed on defense. I'm not sure about FSU's depth, but GT has very little depth (except for HB). An injury or two could get my team in trouble.
BC is a good team, and FSU is known for poor offense on the road - I think this game will be a whole lot closer than you think.
