Cards are NRMT- MT. What does this mean?

I just bought a '77 set that claims the "Cards are NRMT- MT.".
Does this mean that the cards range from Near Mint to Mint or NRMT-MT.

Whatever you think you bought. Ask first next time. Regards.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

  • Depending on the dealer, most NM/MT sets would probably grade out between 5 and 7..............

Expect the worst and you won't be disappointed. If something nicer shows up, you can be thrilled.

I'll bet you are going to get a set with the majority of the cards likely EX to EXMT with a few NM using PSA grading standards, just as baseball fanatic stated.

    I saw Elvis tonight...

He was at the local Stop n Shop....he was wearing a black T shirt and jeans...was sucking down an RC cola and eatin' a Moon Pie.

    This is my claim.

Good luck and let us know how you make out? When I go to a show and look at a set that has that kind of claim - well let's just say that some people have a wonderfully active imagination?

Cards are like women. Everyone thinks the ones they have are the best they've seen. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in most cases the sellers eye.

  • NRMT-MT should mean the cards are almost pack fresh.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
  • beauty is in the eye of the re-holder as well.

That's funny, I see him every night. He's now an ordained minister that presides over 80% of the Weddings here in Las Vegas. image

According to the seller's description, every card should be NRMT- MT. In other words there should be no NRMT cards and there should be no Mint cards. Of course as we know on ebay, a seller's description of a grade compared to reality often differs.
