Goodbye my numismatic friend

I know this is OT but I don't care.
It is with great sadness that I heard that Ed Nowak passed away. He finally fell victum to the cancers he was fighting for the past 5 years. The members here didn't know Eddie but many of you own some of his coins. Eddie was my supplier of all those bulk lots of world coins I have sold to many darkside members here.
Eddie was a great guy. He only set at a coin show once a month during the winter when he was feeling well, but he was one of the most friendly and generous people I have ever met. Many a time I would buy a coin or set from him and the conversation would go something like this:
me: how much for this set Ed?
Ed: $10
me: no way, it's worth more than that. How about $15
Ed: no. I'm making a little something at $10 and that is all I care about.
That was the kind of guy Ed was. I'm convinced he set up at the shows for the social aspect more than anything else.
I will truly miss you Eddie. Rest in Peace.

This is a big loss. I didn't know him but I knew his coins well.
<< <i>Believe me, if y'all had bought the bulk lots from this guy, you would be missing him, too.
Sorry to hear of the sad news, yes indeed I too own coins from the lots.......

I have about 15 folders of memories. Ed's bulk lots always had great variety.
I picked up e few of Ed's bulk lots from Don. A lot of kids in my area got a taste of the darkside when I handed the dupes out, instead of candy, on halloween. If he only knew how far his lots reached.
