    Is that a "light" Spanish 2 reales? I don't have an 18th century Krause and can't remember which years they were struck.

    I've heard it referred to as a Monogram Reale. Very HTF. Probably from the period of 1703-1713/15. There is another type called a Pistareen which is more common.
