LOTS of Foreign Stuff

Here is 5.5lbs of foreign coins and currency I collected in 20 years while in the Air Force. One neat silver peso (1947, fat man) was the best I've pulled out so far. Many of these were give to me by an old boss I had in Germany when he retired and include lots of Vietnamese and Australian stuff. There are several Czech, French, Italian, Austrian, Belgium, Canadian, Swiss, Spanish, Norwegian, British, German, and many I can't ID. The process will be SLOW...

    I just wish I could exchange some of those German 100 Mark notes (about $35.00) I have. Pretty much useless now I as as far as currency goes.

    There are West German Marks. I was in Germany from 1985-1987 before the unification. The exchange rate was 2.5 to 1 or near abouts at the time.

    Chuckle, let me see Florennes AB, Beligum; Woensdrecht AB, Netherlands; Bodo Air Station, Norway; and Ramstein AFB, GE. All within two years. The first three were for Long (2-4 month) TDY's.
