Looking through Sleeze Bay and see this auction.
1912 JAPAN 1 YEN NGC AU58
OK, 1st for an AU58 that is a bit too high. 2nd it's Blue Moon coins. So I figure WTF and I send them an offer to buy the coin at $60. Well I now own a 1912 JAPAN 1 YEN NGC AU58!

At least they took your offer. It is a great looking coin!
Now I wonder why they never took my offer on those great 1955 filled 5 Lincoln cents.
Hmmm, I just saw the other side, maybe I was too quick to talk about upgrade.

<< <i>You bought from Blue Moon Coins!? >>
All well and good for you youngsters, but I'm too old to recover if I blow one.
That year was the first silver ¥1 I ever bought - about $25 for a raw XF - a while back.
I agree with the folks about avoiding the uncertified stuff but I think you could do well with slabbed material.
