PSA Registry can't add item to both player basic and master set

Is everyone else having this problem? I thought you could add the same cert number to both the master and the basic set of an individual player. I did this in the past. Today I tried but got this message:

Cert number xxxxxxxx cannot be used for two items in the same set, or more than one registered set of the same set composite.

My guess is they are saying the master and basic are of the same set composite

Worked fine for me for my minnie minoso master and basic sets the other day.

I'm not having any problems adding the same card to both at the same time.

humm maybe its just me. I guess I will write to PSA to see what they say.

don is it possible that the card you are trying to add is not in one of the sets?

In fact, when I add to the basic set, the program invites me to add to the master set. But I'm always running into one problem or another on the set registry. Just keep on them and it'll get fixed.

I had the same message 2-3 weeks ago. I had just received the card in the mail and at first suspected the seller still had the card in their Set Registry. I went ahead and hit the Validate button and, as it turned out, the card was added anyway!

Ok I got it to work finally! I ended up adding the cards to the master set and then to the basic set. Thanks all for the help!

I had that problem once before.....got that error message............I ended up deleting the card all-together and starting again.....it worked the second time.
