Nikon Coolpix 5600 Image Test

For my upcoming vacation I decided I did not want to lug around the Rebel and all it's lenses so I decided to pickup a small camera that will fit easily in my pocket to bring with me. I decided on a Nikon Coolpix 5600. Here is the first handheld macro shot I took with it.

which of those two pics is closer to the true color of the coin?

The second picture is deadon. I think the Coolpix tried to do some funky redeye adjustment on the first picture. I got to figure out the settings better.

nice cos!! Walmart has a mini tripod for about $3. I use it for all my pics.

Second round with the Nikon, still handheld but a lot better. The Rebel is still by far the better of the two but for a quickie handheld shot the Nikon Coolpix 5600 is nothing to sneeze at.
