IMAGES POSTED-->>Just got some coins back from Leroy: Two New Peace Dollar Discoveries.

Both coins are 1922D and are described below:

1) VAM 2AE (Die Break Rt Side of Y Near Rim), Die crack through top of hair bun to inner junction of Y top bars on up to rim on right side of Y where it widens to a break. Leroy listed it with an R-6 rating.

2) VAM 2AF (Die Break Below G), Die crack from lower edge of Liberty neck front to left over 1 to rim below G in GOD with displaced field at rim. Leroy also listed this one with an R-6 rating.

This was my second shipment to Leroy. The first one with four coins and two new discoveries, and this one with 6 coins and two new discoveries. The other coins in the lots were too minor to list.

It means he found some cool coins that have not been attrituted yet.....regarding irregularities with dollar dies... ie morgans or peace dollars... and it is cool..

congratulations on the discovery! Seems I'm in the dark like fc, is your discovery 'just' a new die break? That's still cool and all, doesn't quite do anything for me as I could basically care less about die breaks, but I do have an appreciation for new finds for the sake of new finds.
