POLL: Copper

I like mine RB, full red is pretty, but hard to keep.

Red with Danica Patrick cartwheels!!!! imageimageimage

That said, I also love copper with flawless surfaces in RB or with natural iridescent toning.....I bought a few just like that from Cheshire.....a blue/purple one too!! image

But the show stopper was the 1870 penny in MS65RD!!!! image

I was temporarily distracted and let that lot slip by, but asked that it be reopened (originally hammered at $1000 or so), and then proceeded to beat my head against the wall going to $1350, I think......if the winning bidder is reading this...imageimageimageMacCrimmon will make you pay, especially for coins which look like they have come straight from a time machine.

Speaking of red copper, I just sold my red 1799 halfpenny today......if it ain't Vic, it ain't gonna stick! image I still have that PCGS MS66RB "Greenie" if anyone might be interested.

I got some coins that looked like they came straight from a time machine, and MacCrimmon didn't make me pay that much at all! image

Red, red, red, red, red and red.

I like copper in full blast red.

Failing that i like it chocolate brown. I really can't cope with copper that is Red/Brown, i just don't like the look, it's not 'even' enough.

A nice glossy brown. I really don't care for red or RB.

I appear to be in the minority. I like deep chocolate brown copper.

COPPER comes in so many flavors it is hard to choose. Sometimes the design dictates what copper looks best.
