1962 Print Lines?

I've seen lots of 1970 Topps cards with white lines near the top or bottom border. PSA doesn't seem to knock grades down for these lines. My question: are similar lines common on 1962 cards? Here's an example I'm bidding on that seems to have a line near the bottom border. Does this line mark the position where one card starts and another stops (assuming perfect cutting at the factory)? The woodgrain appears different above and below the line, which makes me think the bottom portion should belong to the card below Willie on the uncut sheet.

My impression is that those lines are more common on '70s, but they are not uncommon in '62's. I have a Clemente that has the line on the bottom, but it does not show the change in wood grain that the Mays AS shows. I also believe that the line was supposed to be the cut line. FWIW, my Clemente is also a PSA-7...but, I think it would have been a 7 without the line.
That print line is fairly common on the '62 topps cards. I just won a PSA8 that has that print line, too. That may be why I got it at such a bargain (SMR=$28), but it was nicely centered and too hard to pass up. It was a Father's Day gift to myself...

I've got a loooong way to go with my Mays collection, giving me a big target to shoot at, which is nice. I just lost out on a 1960 All-Star that I really wanted. My snipe was set at ten cents under the winning bid...though of course his proxy may have been a lot higher. It can be frustrating to shop for bargains, but it's fun when you win one!
Do you have a registered Mays set yet -- with scans, perhaps? I'd enjoy that set. Willie M. has one of those magnetic smiles and takes a good "shot"!
About that '62T Mays AS card you displayed, it is OC towards the top quite a bit. You can definitely do better.
