Mays
Before i went to work i put in a bid and i came up short . Said what the heck and bid again and was the high bidder but there was still plenty of time so i didn't think i'd win but i did
I noticed just now when i got home that it's OC but i was rushing so much because i was running late for work that i didn't take enough time looking at the card .
Should i try and resell it and look for something a little better perhaps ?
P.S This was my first shot at anything pre 80's in graded so im pretty excited lol

That's an awesome card at a great price. If you want a Mays at that price range keep it, if you would like something in a lttle better condition for a few more $$, sell it and shoot for something that would please you more.

I spent so much money on crap thru the 80's and 90's i think it's time to focus on quality cards from earlier years
I'm not familiar with the '70T set, but is that gray border easily chipped, etc. like the '62T woodgrains and others? If so, I'd be real happy getting a PSA 7 for an RCH over SMR ($80).
Enjoy 'er -- she's your first!

Hoof, I am only speaking as a novice of the 70 set...I once bought 75 commons and that's about it...but I don't think that it chips as easily as the woodgrains or TV sets.

If you shop for a different one, watch out for that white "chop" line along the top border. 1970 Mays is notorious for that line coming down a fair ways into the card. Some people won't buy it if there is gray between the line and the top of the card, others don't mind. Like I said, everyone has their own priorities.
