GSA Morgan grading

Could anyone tell me if PCGS ever decided to grade the GSA Morgans in the original GSA "slab" and leave them in there , or do they still remove them and just designate GSA on the PCGS holder ? I have some I want graded , but want them left in the GSA holders , so was thinking I'd have to go to NGC. Thanks !!

Only NGC as far as I know.......I've got a set and I've so far avoided the grading in the case rush, but someday.....

Craig is right. NGC is still the only "leave it in the original holder" option.
    When in doubt, don't.

  • Thanks for the replys. I want to keep them in the GSA holders , so will have to join the " other guys " club to do it. I was hoping PCGS might have decided to do the same thing....oh , well...

You might want to submit a question on the Q&A Forum about this. Just ask David if PCGS would consider grading GSAs in the slab. If enough people ask, they just might start doing it.

  • Steve, I already asked him that about 4 months ago. His answer was that they had other
projects more pressing on the table. Not a priority!

    "Steve, I already asked him..."

Good, now Howie should ask too. As should everyone else who likes to keep them in the GSA slabs.
