I have dealt with her in the past. Highly reccomend this ebayer!! Bought several 54 bowmans ( baseball) a few years back off of her.

Why is her picture the only one that can't be supersized?image

  • She's very hot. But, I'm trying to figure out why she has her picture up there. Does she think that's going to persuade people to buy her card?

That was my first impression too - hell I'll change my eBay name and include some pics too if it works!

    << <i>Questions ?? ---------> Email Jeannie ... >>

    In the description is says:

    << <i>perfectly CLEAN Front and Back >>

Is that the card or Jeannie?

Jeannie's a cutie, but why is she sitting on the floor in a corner with no pants on?

She may be trying to distract bidders from noticing that the centering could be a little better on the Mantle. (The scan is over-brightened to make the centering less obvious, as well.) No doubt it's a 7, though, and I think it will get up around $3350 or so. After that Jeannie can buy some pants!

I'd be suprised if it went for that much, the last 6 went for under SMR with nicer centering - I'd guess $2750 - plus the auction ends at 930am EST image

Yeah. It's hard for me to believe that a girl who looks like that would be dealing with baseball cards.

Well, this one's PSA 7, and I think the last PSA 7 (a little better centered) sold for $3700+ ... I didn't notice the weird ending time, so your guess might be closer than mine.

Exactly - but, what a marketing genius this fat bald guy is!

Asking if she is really the seller is like all the posts asking if the obvious fake cards just might be real. "She" is an overweight bald guy and you KNOW it! However, props to him on the marketing!

You know he stole that pic of some college girl's home website.

The seller mentions god....america...our troops....and includes a picture of a girl on the floor with no pants.....

all the seller needs to do now is add a picture of a cool, hot car....or a picture of michael jordan or some great sports commercial celebrity juxtaposed next to the card....and we get the perfect ebay marketer.

I had that impression also, but looked a little closer.
She is sitting outside, on concrete, and on the left is sand.

I cant believe this guy is using a pic of his daughter to sell his cards! image
The guy probably puts his 400 lbs hairy wife on the phone if someone calls about cards...I can see him coaching her though the phone conversation! LOL
The poor girl...such a cutie...and being fed to the sports memorabilia hounds! God I love it!!! image

Ah yes, I see that now. But Jeannie still needs our help so she can buy some pants. Let's bid up the Mick!

Sadly, I'm afraid people are right when they guess that the cute girl in that photo has no idea she is being used to sell cards. Not that cute girls can't be on the ball about sports cards (in fact I've done business with one). But my experience with the Internet and eBay is that raw, high-grade Mantle rookies are never real, PRO cards are always trimmed or counterfeit, and gorgeous girls with no pants on hardly ever have anything to do with what's being sold in an auction.
  • It looks like to me that she is wearing a pair of cut-off jean shorts.

This dealer always included photos of a woman with his/her auctions. I seem to remember a photo of a different woman.....shorter lighter hair. My guess is the brunette with the long hair is not Jeannie

Well, it went for $3,376.67. Nice centering and an evening hammer would have got it up in the $3,750 to $4,000 range, despite what SMR says.

I recently sold my centered 53T Mick PSA 7 for $3,250 to a private party image so I am painfully aware what they are fetching on the open market.

Imagine what this one would have sold for if Jeannie's shirt was in the laundry along with her pants.
  • Good prediction jrdolan!

So if you win, and elect to send a check or MO, who do you make it out to?

Big Billy Bumbry or some gal named Jeannie?

Make the check out to Forrest Gump...I think that may be his Jeannie!

    Check payable to Major Nelson.
  • I suddenly stopped caring about cards. I wonder if that could have a negative effect on his auctions.

  • Have you kept up with the thread about the "idiot auction" where the seller is offering a 1 in 100 chance at a Mantle PSA 7? Guess whose scan just popped up on it? Yep, same cert number as Jeannie's Mantle.
