So, I have to ask.....why play so sneaky with this?
If you posted the thread, you knew it was sold.

If you weren't the broker or seller, then you weren't a party to the deal as you would know who bought it then.

So, I don't understand why you couldn't say what it was that sold.

....unless you weren't supposed to be told but you were, in which case you shouldn't have said anything at all......

My brother in NJ just called me to ask "what is a 1913 nickel worth?" and he's not a collector. I guess it made the broadcast news on the east coast.

I put it on the noon news today in LA and some local dealers called me that in the afternoon they were getting all sorts of phone calls like:

"my nickel is from 1906 and since its older than 1913 it should be worth more..."

Okay, who bought it??
