The "Man I've Been Lucky" giveaway - WINNERS in 1st post, Aethelred, you're up!
![elverno](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/mylogo-sm2.jpg)
Just here on the forum I've won two giveways recently (AuldFartte and rhound). Life is pretty good in general
but I'm enough of an American Indian to know that when you receive you really need to give! So, for a change
this is a giveaway of numismatic books:
Just post to enter. I'll pick three names from the group when I get home next Monday (holidays!) and they'll get
to pick in order from:
1. Medallic Illustrations of the History of Great Britain and Ireland (theboz11 gives it a new home!)
A huge book, profusely illustrated but a little too general for my specific needs. By that I mean it covers too
much history!
2. Commercial Coins 1787-1804 by R.C. Bell
A classic that's a must for every Conder collector. It's my second copy so it needs a new home.
3. The Hampshire Seventeenth Century Traders' Tokens
The booby prize frankly. If it shows up on eBay it won't hurt my feelings! From what I can tell it's a great reference
but I got it as part of a lot of books that I needed.![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif)
OK, the winners are:
1st choice - theboz11 - takes #1
1 and a half - MadMarty asks that I send it to a YN. After discussing it with him I decided to send Shane (Danglen's coin buddy)
a selection of world coins along with a US proof set. Neither of the remaining books IMHO are really appropriate for most YNs
as they're pretty specialized.
So,
2nd choice - Aethelred
3rd choice - Stork
Thanks folks, I'll PM each of you in order and get your addresses. Either tell me what you want or post to this thread.![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif)
FYI: I'll probably send these by media mail in the States and "slow boat to China" (so to speak) for overseas so potential
winners, be patient. Also, this covers my "Hey, how'd I get to 1,000 posts?"![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif)

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5

I'd gladly give any of them a home.
