Worth selling?

I've got a pretty large card collection I was given about 6 years ago, and I'm just now wondering about the value of these cards.. I'm going to put a few of them down on a list here and if any are worth selling, let me know.. Trying to make a little money to help out with my bills.

To see what your cards book for you can go HERE. Scroll down until you see a little box that says What Are My Cards Worth? and click Look Up Player. If you haven't signed up do so as it's free and look up the book values.

Once your done looking them up and thinking oh boy my cards are worth something throw every price you just saw out the window and go to eBay and search HERE.

Put whatever you want to find the prices of in the Enter keyword or item number and click Completed listings only then click search.

Have fun and I think you'll be surprised at what you find.
  • Thanks image I wasn't able to find any info on *good* Frank Thomas - Studio Heritage Series - 1993 - "8 of only 12" .. Anyone come across this card before? Couldn't find anything about the basketball cards either

"The twelve card standard size set was randomly inserted in all 1993 LEAF Studio foil packs."

Sorry to say but even a MINT Frank Thomas is only worth a couple of bucks.

  • Yeah, looks like of the part of my collection I've found so far, I've got a few cards worth about 6 bucks each and the rest are between .30 and 1.20, I'll probably just get rid of them all together.

"Good" is actually bad when it comes to cards. Especially cards from the 1990s! It's at the low end of the grading scale.

  • Found a *MINT* 1978 OJ Simpson (49ers) insert from Topps Chewing Gum, guess it was an insert, Only worth about 2 dollars but it feels awesome to have something like 30 years old in such good condition image

Yeah, '88 was the year I went nutso buying Topps and Donruss. That's the "landfill" material I've referred to before. I'm hoping my nephew will be excited to get a set or two as he gets started collecting cards. He'll be disappointed though when he looks in the price guide...
