How many sets?

Are you actively working on completing in graded form? When I first started, I wanted to do a 1971 baseball set and Boggs basic set....from there, I have branched out to several others.

Am I alone in this, or do most fall into wanting to work on several different sets?

This is embarrassing, since I got involved in the Registry to try to focus.
    1963 Topps
    1961 Topps
Since I had these when I was a kid.

    1953 Topps.
    Because, well, forget it.

    Then I decided to do a pre-war:

    T-205

I wanted to do Ernie Banks, a hero of my childhood, so I did.
    Ernie Banks.
    Then, of course, Billy Williams
    Billy Williams.
I needed at least one modern set.
    Sammy Sosa
Then there was a thread about collecting your dad's favorites, so I'm thinking about Koufax. I also really like the T-201s. Focused, I am not.

Only doing the 67 baseball set. I was going to start a separte thread, but I will ask it here. Can you tell me why you chose a paticular set to do. I chose 67s because I like the design and I was born in the 60s (that is all I will say on that). Did not start buying cards until 74, but think that 67 is one of the best of Topps.

  • I'm doing the top 10 NFL career rushers. The tough part is at #10. Franco Harris is sitting there, but Marshall Faulk is only 330 yards away.
Looking for 1955 Topps All American Four Horseman.
