Ajaan and a digital camera-his scanner is not jealous

Ajaan’s camera is 21st century
But Ajaan’s a 20th century guy.
He’d prefer a scanner bed,
And is probably wondering why

He bought a camera that needs participation,
Twiddling and fiddling, fine-tuning.
He’d prefer to push a button
Than to find photo problems ballooning.

His coins are quite remarkable;
His numis-skills quite astute.
If he could but master his camera,
His own horn he could loudly toot.

For some time we pushed Ajaan to go digital and to his credit he did. I think he's encountered the problem of going through the steps only to find he would like to re-shoot for a better image but doesn't because it's time consuming. I find myself with the same problem but luckily I've never owned a scanner.image

    And when Ajaan moved out there was another to step into his shoes...

    I'm still scanning, no digital camera... seems a very fiddly process anyhow. I'm complacent with my scanner. I'm really a 19th century guy, grew up in the 20th and is now stuck in the 21st... grrr.

    Ajaan can't figure out how to get his camera out of the box, if we can get him past that we'll be in business!
