Congratulations to the forum

For a variety of reasons I don't post as much as I used to on this forum (which will hopefully change soon) but I still read daily virtually all the posts and so don't feel too estranged from what's going on.

Since late last summer I've seen a steady influx of new members and such coins they show us! A lot more ancients, coins from the middle ages, (Htubbs just showed a beautiful golden ducat from 1597), a strong increase in diversity, quality, and value.

The stalwarts of the forum continue to post, and some members like Scott are achieving a certain world-wide reknown for their work in specialised fields. I particularily appreciate the Panache (Cap P) that LordM brings to the field. I do wish that the mellifluous mushroom would post as much as he used to.

I continue to applaud the forum for being the best at what it does, and it's members, who are congenial, informative, and rarely wrong.

I'll take mine with butter and just a little bit of maple syrup. (Not too much syrup, though.)

As to the HTubbs ducat, it may soon be the LordM ducat- negotiations are under way. But first LordM must deal with some cashflow issues.

Well said Laurent, I agree with you! I enjoy the variety of posts and the demeanor of this group. Good discussions and lessons without the sarcasm and flames of other forums. Lets keep it that way!

Laurent, that's a great, reflective post as we've come to expect from you. And I agree with you; although the format and content of the Darkside has altered over the past few years, it's even more amazingly diversified now than ever, and I really enjoy reading, although I don't post as much.
