Attention: fans of US Philippine coins concerning a possible new variety for the 1903-S peso

Dear Fellow Fans:
A few months ago, I noticed that a 1903-S peso that I had lying around had a repunched 1. The under-image showed most clearly to the south on the top ligature.
Then this Monday, I went to the bank and browsed my other US Philippine pesos.
-- None of my 1903 pesos had the repunched 1
-- I had 4 other 1903-S unc pesos; all five 1903-S pesos had the repunched 1. To my eye (I just have a loupe, not a microscope), they all looked like the same die.
-- I have 2 1904 pesos; neither of them had the repunched 1
-- I have 3 1904-S pesos; one of the three 1904-S pesos had the repunched 1 -- and again, it looked like the same die as the 1903-S.
-- I also have 2 1905-S pesos type 1, which means the same curved serif design as for the 1903-S and 04-S. Both of these 05-S type 1 pesos had the repunched 1, and still again, they looked identical to the 03-S repunched 1
-- My sole 05-S peso, type 2 did not have the repunched 1. Nor did my 06-S.
Of course, after 1906, all new dies were used because the peso was reduced in size.
In any case, could you please check your own early pesos and report what you find? It would be interesting for all of us US Philippine enthusiasts to know which variety (repunched or not) is "normal" for each year.
