OMG !! I must have fallen under an evil influence

When I was little my mama warned me this might happen. She said, Son when you're subjected to things long enough - they sometimes have an effect on ya !

Well, it appears that perhaps it has come to pass. I mean after being exposed to countless examples of British coinage - I fear it has finally taken its toll image

It's been so long since I've purchased anything British - I can't even remember when the last time was. This has me so ...... so .... image

I tried to walk away, and did so successfully for more than a whole day. But this, this thing just wouldn't leave me alone !! It just kept screaming at me from out of cyberspace - BUY ME !!!!!

So finally, just to get the voice to stop - I did.

But wait - perhaps there is hope for me after all !! This isn't really British - it's a scene from the Netherlands. Yeah !! And I collect stuff from the Netherlands image That's it - that's why I bought it - it's from the Netherlands image

I may be safe from the evil British influence after all image

    And yours is beautiful. Mine is quite nice but in white metal it's a later restrike.
